I set out to create a vitamin C serum that was both stable and effective. The challenge was big: ascorbic acid, the purest and most proven form of vitamin C, is notoriously unstable. Most formulas oxidise quickly, sometimes within a week, losing their effectiveness. My goal was clear, to develop a serum that could stay fresh and active for at least three months.
This wasn’t easy. We faced countless stability issues, testing and reformulating again and again. But I believed in the science, only ascorbic acid has the strong clinical evidence to back up the brightening and anti-ageing claims that people trust. I wanted this serum to deliver real results.
Equally important, it had to feel good to use. The texture needed to be gentle enough for sensitive skin, but not so runny that it slid down your neck before you could massage it in. Striking this balance took time, patience, and a lot of problem-solving.
After many trials, we finally found the perfect harmony of ingredients. When the formula came together, it felt like a breath of relief, we had done it!
